Celulosas de Hernani, in Hernani- Guipuzcoa, Spain, has signed a contract with Toscotec for the supply of a Modulo 50 Tissue Machine. Celulosa de Hernani was the first tissue producer in Spain and started its activities in 1913.

Russia: Enterprises of Ilim Pulp boost production
During 11 months 2006, Bratsk Pulp and Cardboard Mill churned out 659 thousand tons of market products, which constituted an upturn of 4.1% (25.9 thousand tons) compared with 2005, the press-service of Ilim Pulp informs. The mill cooked 451.2 thousand tons of market pulp (+2.3%).

Russia: Arkhangelsk Mill increases pulping
During 11 months 2006, Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill increased pulping output 1.8%. Arkhangelsk Mill cooked 211.4 thousand tons of market pulp, which constituted a slight upturn of 1.6% compared the same period a year ago, the mill’s press-service informs. The enterprise churned out 440.2 thousand tons of board (+1.6%), 119.6 million sq.m of containerboard packaging (+0.9%), 309.6 million of 12-paged copybooks (+5.6%).
