St. Petersburg Cardboard and Printing Factory belonging to Ilim Pulp timber corporation produced 117 thousand tons of cardboard during the first half 2005, which constituted an upturn of 5 thousand tons or 4.5% compared with the same period a year ago.
The factory churned out 16.5 thousand tons of uncoated board in reels (the same as in 2004), 40.3 thousand tons of coated board in reels (the same as in 2004), 50.5 thousand tons of linerboard (+11.7 or 5.3 thousand tons), 4,1 thousand tons of match box board (-25.4% or 1.4 thousand tons), 5.6 thousand tons of paper for corrugated (+36.6% or 1.5 thousand tons).
The total output of printed products amounted to 13.1 thousand tons (+4.7%), the press-service of Ilim Pulp reports. During 6 months 2005 the factory manufactured 43 million of disposable plates (+12.9%). The production of document cases and binders remained at the same level.
