During the first half 2005 Bratsk Pulp and Cardboard Mill, belonging to Ilim Pulp, churned out 361.9 thousand tons of products, which constituted a slight upturn of 1.8% or 6.3 thousand tons compared with 2004. The mill manufactured 246.6 thousand tons of market pulp (+0.5%), 115.28 thousand tons of containerboard (+4.8%). Pulping output grew 1.5% or 5.7 thousand tons up to 392.2 thousand tons including 109.3 thousand tons of bleached softwood pulp (+2.3% or 2.5 thousand tons).
Ust-Ilim Timber Complex, belonging to Ilim Pulp, cooked more than 307.7 thousand tons of market pulp during the first six months (5.8% or 16.7 thousand tons more than during the same period a year ago). Total pulping output increased 5.3% to 334.2 thousand tons including 280.2 thousand tons of bleached pulp (+8.1%).
