Ukraine: Pulp and paper industry reports results

During the first seven months, Ukrainian pulp and paper enterprises produced 93.5 thousand tons of paper (+7.6% compared with the same period a year ago) and 320.1 thousand tons of board (+8.9%). The total output of cardboard shipping containers increased 19.5% to 208 million sq.m. The production of containerboard and fluting grew 11.6% to 249.3 thousand tons. Dnepropetrovsk Paper Mill and JSC Donetsk-Vtorma showed the fastest growth of 59.5% and 49.9% respectively. The output increase of the main market players, Rubezhansk Cardboard and Package Mill and Kiev Cardboard and Paper Mill, totaled 10.6% and 9.1%.
