During the first seven months 2005, Ust-Ilim Timber Complex belonging to Ilim Pulp cooked 369.3 thousand tons of market pulp (7.1% or 24.1 thousand tons more than during the same period a year ago), including 331.7 thousand tons of bleached softwood pulp (9.3% or 53.7 thousand tons more versus 2004). Total pulping output increased 6.6% to 395.4 thousand tons.
In July, the mill cooked 56.2 thousand tons of market pulp (+15% or 7.3 thousand tons) including 51.5 thousand tons of bleached softwood pulp (16.1% or 7.1 thousand tons more versus 2004). The pulping output totaled 61.1 thousand tons (+14.7% or 7.8 thousand tons).
Bratsk Pulp and Cardboard Mill churned out 423.6 thousand tons of products during January–July, which constituted a slight upturn of 1.7% or 7.1 thousand tons compared with 2004. The mill manufactured 288.3 thousand tons of market pulp (+0.3%), 137.7 thousand tons of containerboard (+4.6%). Pulping output grew 1.3% or 6 thousand tons up to 458.3 thousand tons.
Kotlass Pulp and Paper Mill manufactured 529.3 thousand tons of products , which constituted a slight upturn of 4.6% (23.2 thousand tons) compared with the same period a year ago.
Since January the mill produced 149.6 thousand tons of paper (3.2 thousand tons less versus 2004 as the mill has switched to lighter paper). Cardboard output increased 12 thousand tons (+7.2%) to 179.8 thousand tons. Pulping output totaled 585.45 thousand tons (+4.4% or 24.5 thousand tons).
