Russia: New mill in Tumen region

A new $890 million pulp and cardboard mill will be constructed in Tumen region of Russia, www.unipack.ru informs. The projected capacity is 250 thousand tons of pulp and 150 thousand tons of chemical thermomechanical wood pulp for further producing 350 thousand tons of coated and uncoated board. Three large foreign companies from Norway, Sweden, and Austria showed their interest in financing the project.
