Ukraine: New results of pulp and paper industry

During the eight months 2005, Ukrainian pulp and paper enterprises produced 106.6 thousand tons of paper and 365.4 thousand tons of board (an average increase of 6% compared with the same period 2004). The sector of containerboard and fluting showed the usual largest increase of 11 %. With the reduction of printing and writing papers and chipboard output at Poninki Cardboard and Paper Factory total industry results reduced 9.2% and 25% respectively.
