Russia: Ilim Pulp reports production increase

Ilim Pulp, the largest timber company of Russia, reported its results for the first eight months 2005. The enterprises belonging to Ilim Pulp churned out 1675.8 thousand tons of products, which constituted an upturn of 61.9 thousand tons or 3.8% compared with the same period a year ago. The total output grew to 980.6 thousand tons of market pulp (+3.7%), 485.1 thousand tons of cardboard (+5.8%), 173 thousand tons of paper (+3.5%).
