Osnova Concern accomplished a plan of strategic development for the next 3 year. According to it, Izmail Pulp and Cardboard Mill will boost its production capacities and launch new product grades. Next year it is to increase the output up to 56 million sq.m. of corrugated products, by 2008 up to 70 million sq.m. By now, operational speed of cardboard machine at Izmail Mill grew to 250 m/min, which is two times more than its rated capacity. The planned modernization will increase the speed up to 300 m/min.
Reconstruction of PM3 continues at Zhidachev Pulp and Paper Mill. The equipment is scheduled to start January 2006.
During the nine months 2005, the enterprises belonging to Osnova Concern churned out 132.3 thousand tons of products, including 26 thousand tons of newspaper, 10.8 thousand tons of boxboard, 88.3 thousand tons of containerboard (including fluting).
