Ukraine: Results of pulp and paper industry

During the nine months 2005, Ukrainian pulp and paper enterprises produced 528.8 thousand tons of paper and board (an increase of 9% compared with the same period 2004). The sector of containerboard and fluting showed the usual largest increase of 11%. Chipboard production dropped significantly — by 20%. Total production output for 9 months is more than UAH 1.5 billion (app. $300 million).
