Ukraine: Osnova reports annual results

In 2005 the enterprises belonging to Osnova Concern churned out products for UAH 374,167 thousand (app. $70 million), which constituted an upturn of 16% compared with the year before. The paper output grew 11% (including 4% for newspaper); the board output increased 5%. In January–December Zhidachev Pulp and Paper Mill and Izmail Pulp and Cardboard Mill manufactured 45 thousand tons of paper, 134 thousand tons of board, 152 million sq. m. of containerboard packaging.
