Russian timber company Ilim Pulp reported its results for January 2006.
The enterprises belonging to Ilim Pulp churned out 215 thousand tons of products, a slight increase of 0.2% on 2005 figures. Market pulp output declined to 120.7 thousand tons (-5.4%), paper and paperboard output grew 10.4% to 24.6 thousand tons and 7.6% to 66.2 thousand tons, accordingly. Due to the planned modernization of Ust-Ilim Timber Complex, aimed at boosting its capacity by February, pulping decreased 3% to 204.6 thousand tons.
