During Q1 St. Petersburg Cardboard and Printing Factory belonging to Ilim Pulp timber corporation produced 60.6 thousand tons of cardboard (including 50.6 thousand tons of market cardboard), which constituted a slight upturn of 3% or 1.6 thousand tons compared with the same period a year ago.
The factory churned out 7.6 thousand tons of uncoated board (0.9 thousand tons or 13% more compared with 2005), 12.3 thousand tons of coated board (0.3 thousand tons or 2.5% more), 28.3 thousand tons of linerboard (2.2 thousand tons or 8% more), 1.9 thousand tons of match box board (+6% or 0.1 thousand tons), 0.5 thousand tons of liner.
The total output of printed products in Q1 amounted to 6 thousand tons (the same versus Q1 2005), the press-service of Ilim Pulp reports. During 3 months 2006, the factory manufactured 18.1 million of disposable plates (-17% because of planned maintenance stop).
