On March 19, Mondi Business Paper Sales CIS became the owner of priceless stationery, the Golden Paperclip as the company was named the best office paper producer of the year.
The two other nominees in this category of Russian national prize for stationary and office products were International Paper and Stora Enso.
On commenting on the situation, Kreig Jacobs, general director of Moscow office, attributed the success to well thought-out marketing strategy during the last three years. The other factors are boosted up capacities of Syktyvkar Timber Complex and rising quality of its products.
Mondi Business Paper Sales CIS was nominated for the Golden Paperclip for three times, but succeeded only this year.
Russian national prize “Golden Paperclip” was launched in 2003 by the Association of producers and dealers of stationary and office products together with Komus company. During the first stage nominees are selected by marketing activities data from open sources. Next, the three nominees are estimated by the board of experts consisting from managers of the largest players of Russian stationary and office products market.
