Net profit of St. Petersburg Cardboard and Printing Factory belonging to Ilim Pulp grew 61.6% to RUR 342 million (app. $11.5 million), the press-service of Ilim Pulp reports. Gross profit increased 32.5% up to RUR 771.5 million (app. $25 million).
During the first four months 2005, the mill produced 80.5 thousand tons of cardboard which constituted an upturn of 3.5% compared with the same period a year ago.
The factory churned out 9.9 thousand tons of uncoated board (0.4 thousand tons or 4.7% more compared with 2004), 16.4 thousand tons of coated board (0.4 thousand tons or 2.3% more), 37.8 thousand tons of linerboard (4.6 thousand tons or 13.9% more), 2.5 thousand tons of match box board (the level of the first four months 2005).
The total output of printed products amounted to 8.4 thousand tons. During January–April, the factory manufactured 24.6 million of disposable plates (-15% due to equipment maintenance).
