The biggest Ukrainian producer of corrugated packaging, Rubezhansk Cardboard and Package Mill is planning to invest 45 million dollars in production development during the next 3-5 years, Interfax-Ukraine agency reports with reference to Gennady Minin, Rubezhansk general director.
The mill specializes at liner and fluting production for corrugated board, converting of corrugated boxes. It is the only Ukrainian producer of F and N micro corrugated board, triple fluted board. The mill expanded its stock significantly having launched production lines for complex die-cutting and high quality graphics packaging.
It occupies 30% of home market, but plans to strengthen its position. Having invested more than UAH 210 million (app. $42 million) during 7 years, now Rubezhansk modernizes PM 1 and PM 2. In 2005 the mill forwarded 10.5 million dollars for boosting production capacity. Interfax-Ukraine has no details as for investment plans.
