The government of Khanty-Mansyisk autonomous region has signed an agreement with Avantage Capital on cooperation in project assessment concerning construction a new pulp and paper mill, www.unipack.ru informs.
The project will become a part of regional development program for 2000–2010.
The mill is planned to process more than 2 million m3 of timber annually producing 500 thousand tons of pulp. Possible net profit is estimated at 150 million dollars. Investors are welcome to produce pulp and board, and not paper, which is to reduce environmental influence of the mill.
