During the seven months 2006, Kotlass Pulp and Paper Mill belonging to Ilim Pulp Corp. manufactured 548.5 thousand tons of products, which constituted an upturn of 3.6% (29.6 thousand tons) compared with the same period a year ago, the press-service of Ilim Pulp informs.
Since January, the mill produced 157.5 thousand tons of paper (5.3 thousand tons more versus 2005). Cardboard output increased 12.4 thousand tons (+6.9%). Pulping output totaled 604.2 thousand tons (+3.3).
Ust-Ilim Timber Complex cooked 353 thousand tons of market pulp (-3% compared with the same period a year ago). Total pulping output decreased 3% to 383.3 thousand tons. According to Alexandr Razmakhnin, first acting director of Ust-Ilim, the enterprise continues with tooling the equipment after the planned stoppage.
