Russia: Segezha Mill increases production

In January–September 2006, Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill (Russian Karelia) increased pulping output by 7.3% to 227.9 thousand tons compared with the same period a year ago, www.bumprom.ru informs. The mill manufactured 167.9 thousand tons of paper (+1.3%), 46.5 thousand tons of board (+33.5%), 276.5 million of paper sacks (+7.6%). In September the mill churned out 27.8 thousand tons of pulp, 20.4 thousand tons of paper, 5.7 thousand tons of board, 28.5 million of sacks.
