Russia: Ilim Pulp releases figures

In January–September 2006, Kotlass Pulp and Paper Mill belonging to Ilim Pulp churned out 701 thousand tons of products, which constituted an upturn of 3.2% compared with the same period a year ago, www.lesprom.ru informs.

During the first nine months 2006, the mill manufactured 203.7 thousand tons of paper (+5.5% or 10.6 thousand tons), 246.5 thousand tons of cardboard (+5.6% or 13 thousand tons). Pulping output grew 22.6 thousand tons (+3%) to 772.3 thousand tons.

St. Petersburg Cardboard and Printing Factory belonging to Ilim Pulp produced 148.8 thousand tons of market board which constituted an upturn of 5.4% compared with the same period a year ago. The total board output constituted 178.8 thousand tons. The mill produced 20.2 thousand tons of printed products. Since the beginning of the year the mill manufactured only 1.5 thousand tons of fluting (-6.6 thousand tons versus 2005) having switched over to linerboard production.
