Net profit of Ust-Ilim Timber Complex belonging to Ilim Pulp (Irkutsk region) amounted to RUR 565.7 million (app. $18.8 million) during January–September compared with the dead loss of RUR 45 million (app. $1.5 million) during the same period a year ago, www.lesprom.ru informs with reference to the press-service of Ilim Pulp.
Sales volumes grew 18.5% to RUR 6.3 billion (app. $210 million). Profit before taxes reached RUR 765 million (app. $25.5 million) compared with RUR 34.6 million (app. $1.15 million) a year ago.
Net profit of Kotlass Pulp and Paper Mill belonging to Ilim Pulp (Arkhangelsk region) increased 36.2% to RUR 1.4 billion (app. $46.5 million) during January–September compared with the same period a year ago.
Sales volumes grew 11.9% to RUR 9.3 billion (app. $310 million). Profit before taxes reached RUR 1.96 billion or app. $65.3 million (+25.1%).
