The ICT (Industrie Cartarie Tronchetti) Group has placed an order with Andritz to supply a second tissue machine for its Kostrzyn, Poland mill.
Start up of TM 12 is scheduled for the first quarter of 2008. A new machine that Andritz supplied for ICT’s mill in Spain started up in 2005.
The scope of supply comprises a complete CrescentFormer tissue machine, including a PrimeControl Automation System and a stock preparation system with Papillon™ refiners. The tissue machine will have a width of 5.55 m and a design speed of 1,900 m/min. It will be used to produce primarily toilet paper and kitchen rolls.
The paper produced on the new tissue machine will be mainly converted to high-quality toilet and kitchen rolls, marketed under ICT's "Foxy" brand.
