CMPC has ordered a crescent former tissue machine from Recard for its mill in Lima, Peru. The machine will produce tissue in the range of 14 to 41 gsm, and have a capacity of 116 tpd.
The tissue machine will have a maximum working speed of 2000 m/min, and net width at reel of 2750 mm. The Yankee will have 16' (4.8-m) diameter and operate at 8,65 bar of pressure. There will be a high efficiency gas hood.
Recard will also supply a pressure screen and fan pump for a delivery rate of 93,000 l/min, three vacuum pumps, an effluent clarifying plant, plus DC and AC motors and other equipment.
The machine will use both virgin pulp and recycled fiber, and stock preparation will be supplied by Lamort.
