European recycling up

Last month CEPI reported a European paper recycling rate of 63.4%. The industry has set a target of 66% by 2010. In 2006, the industry recycled 58.2 million tons of paper and board Europe; an increase of 5.7 million tons (9.8%) since 2004, the base year for the target.
