Russia: Mondi Business Paper in March
In March 2006, Mondi Business Paper Syktyvkar manufactured 68.9 thousand tons of paper and cardboard products, which constituted an upturn of 2% compared with the approved plan and 3% compared with the same period a year ago, the company’s press-service informs. The pulping output increased 6% versus March 2005 to 48.9 thousand tons.

Russia: Arkhangelsk Mill churns out certified pulp
On March 31 and April 1 Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill churned out the first 530 tons of sulphate bleached hardwood pulp, cooked in compliance with FSC standards. On April 5, the first batch of FSC-certified pulp was shipped to Germany.
